What your child will learn

Nature offers play levels for all ages simultaneously. It is the teacher; we are here to support the children's interests, provide guidance when needed and keep them safe from hazards.

    Children follow their own interests in the forest, with guides close by.

What you might do

  • Den BuildersTeams build a shelter from branches and tarps, then test if it keeps them dry.
  • Minibeast HuntSearch under logs and leaves, then identify finds with a magnifier.
  • Mud KitchenMixing, pouring and 'cooking' with soil, water and leaves.
  • Nature ArtPatterns and pictures made from leaves, sticks and stones.
  • Nature WalkIdentifying local flora and fauna.

Before you book

  • Register by ThursdayRegistration and final confirmation for each weekend close on the Thursday before.
  • Pay by ThursdayPayment is made after your booking is confirmed, and completed by the same Thursday.
  • Several weekendsIf you book more than one session, send us the dates you want in advance, as a calendar.
  • One makeup sessionA non-emergency cancellation can be made up once, subject to availability and the group's capacity.
  • No snacks pleaseThere is no snack break, so children do not need to bring snacks.

I'm Katlego, and I teach Forest School Week-End, Mixed Martial Arts, Soccer, Training on Site and Volleyball. I studied Mathematical Sciences and worked as Head of Digital in banking, then as a Creative Director. I'm interested in photography, videography, DJing, and astronomy, and I spend a lot of time on sports - soccer, basketball, swimming, cycling and hiking.

Parents often ask

For children aged 4 to 8 who thrive outdoors, or who could use a break from the pace of city life. Here they can slow down, breathe, and spend unhurried time making and exploring whatever interests them.

Saturdays, 1:00 to 4:00 PM, at Tatsuminomori Ryokudo Park. We confirm the meeting point when you book.

Be prepared for the weather on the day! We will go out in all weather unless it is deemed unsafe according to government warnings. Bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty, spare clothes, close-toed sturdy shoes and a change of clothes.
